Race Director note:

Les Courses en Forêt Series is an open race. You don't need to be an elite racer to participate, but, please note that this race is not a walk, it's a timed event.

Parents and grand-parents of the 2km participants are welcome to run with their child.

A daycare service is also available to allow parents to participate in the 5 or 10 km race. They will be able to first run with their child at 9 a.m. and then run their own race. The start for the 10 km is planned at 9:45 a.m. while the 5 km starts at 10 a.m.

Cost                      $10 for the 2 km  (each child racer will receive a participation medal) 
                               $15 for the 5km or 10km ( 12 to 17 yrs old )
                           
    $35 for the 5 km  
                               $45 for the 10 km

Registration on the morning of the race
                            $18 for the 2 km            No Lunch
                             $50 for the 5 km           No Lunch
                             $60 for the 10 km         No Lunch

Each participant will receive a $36 value gift certificate for the
Spa Le Nordique



                              
Start:           Lodge at the base of the mountain
                       9 a.m. for the
2 km
                       9:45 a.m. for the 10 km 
                      10 a.m. for the 5 km
               

Racers packets pick-up  from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the main lodge

Pre-race meeting
                                8:45 a.m. for the 2 km
                                9:30 a.m. for the 10 km
                                9:45 a.m. for the 5 km

First Aid     A first aid volunteer will be posted at the start and finish

Safety           To ensure the safety of all racers, all courses will be swept after the last racer

Water Station    A water station will be located on each course for the 5 and 10 km


Food Station      Fresh fruit (bananas, oranges), water, energy drinks will be available before and after the race.

After Race Meal

                         A warm meal will be served to all racers after the 5 and 10 km races.

  • 10 points for 1st place
  • 9 points for 2nd place
  • 8 points for 3rd place
  • 7 points for 4th place
  • 6 points for 5th place
  • 5 points for 6th place
  • 4 points for 7th place
  • 3 points for 8th place
  • 2 points for 9th place
  • 1 point for 10th place
